PORTAGE BAY COTTAGE KITCHEN
Renovating the kitchen in this 1920s-era home became a great collaboration with a creative homeowner whose artistic sense shows through. An accomplished cook, she wanted a functional design that worked well, and a beautiful room filled with joy and light. We recommended keeping the French doors to the beautiful kitchen garden, placing the range between two new windows, and moving the door to the basement to ease traffic congestion in the space. Artful details – all cabinetry handles are the homeowner’s handiwork! – and thoughtful planning combine to great effect.
